Supporting Healthy Sexuality for your Loved One with Down Syndrome by Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L
Information/Description:
We know that individuals with Down syndrome are social beings and want to have healthy relationships. This is a skill they need to learn as it may not be inherent. In this session, participants will learn about why it is important to teach sexuality education, what topics that should be addressed, and how to talk about them. Resources will also be shared including visual supports in addition to books and free online resources.
